Oamaru:
the place to watch Blue Penguins (Eudyptula minor) or Korora in Maori. After
nightfall big groups (30-50) come ashore and waddle over to their burows
in the cliffface.
This little fellow is moulting and was miserably going back and forth along
shore in daytime while his fellow penguins were off shore eating krill.

komen grote groepen (30-50) tegelijk aan land en hobbelen over naar de holen
in de klifwand.
Deze kleine jongen was net aan het ververen en liep/zwom langs het strand
terwijl zijn collega's buitengaats waren en zich te goed deden aan "Fruit-de-mer"
